We met Luca, the master brewer, and spent a day with him learning how to brew. Luca is incredibly passionate about brewing and you can taste it in his awesome beers. The brewery is in the hip district of Grunerlokka and you will find it to be crowded on most nights as people try Luca’s creatively named brews based on inside jokes, politics, or pop culture! A summer-time day trip only an hour by ferry from Oslo to experience the taste of goat cheese on an island inhabited by more goats than humans. We came here one day to discover the magic of three strangers who came to the uninhabited off the electric grid island to survive with 90 goats and make some of Norway’s best goat cheese. Their project, this place, and the island are all mysteriously awesome!
