Sweet, nutritious and delicious, Deirdre's delicious carrots are the perfect side dish for any hearty meal, especially for her amazing beef stifado! We learned the recipe while recipe hunting in Northern Cyprus.

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 carrots

  • 2 tablespoons of salted butter

  • 1.5 tablespoons of brown sugar

RECIPE

Prep time: 10 min

Serves 5

  1. Peel the carrots and cut them into 1 mm chips.

  2. Parboil them in water or steam them until they are al dente.

  3. Strain the water, add the butter, brown sugar and stir.

  4. Enjoy Deirdre's Carrot, Made with Love!
