with   matt powell

We head to Pembrokeshire where we meet with Matt Powell, a fisherman, a forager, and chef. Matt takes us foraging for wild edible coastal plants, land plants, and fungi in the woods. Afterwards, we head to his caravan kitchen where he transforms the foraged ingredients to an artfully created 10 course meal. Matt's unique ability to mimic the wilderness of Wales on a kitchen plate left us in a state of awe. Each and every dish tells represents a story of nature or history. Not only are his dishes visual masterpieces, but believe it or not, they taste even better than they look.  We left Matt with a deeper viewpoint on nature and food and we hope that this film on Matt's creative culinary art provoke you to consider the flavors we walk by every single day.
